How to watch the Free Software TV

The most popular video players are compatible with Theora codec. See which player you can use in each operational system:

On GNU/Linux

You can use this softwares:

• MPlayer (you need to choose a version compatible with Theora codec):
  • for Debian
  • for Slackware 10.1
  • for Fedora core 3
• Xine
• Helix : Download, FAQ
• VLC   parece ser a melhor opção

Normally only installing a player does not associate it the browser. If the browser ask you to save the file when you click on the videos list, try to copy and paste this URL directly into the player. The procedure depends on which player you are using. Usually, there's an option to "Open Location" in the player.

Watching videos using Mozilla

There are two ways to configure the mplayer plugin on Mozilla:

• MPlayer Plug-in
• mozPlayerXP

Using MS Windows

The following players can be used:

• VLC
• Real One

Using MAC OSX

• VLC
• Compile the MPlayer
